hi..
i have a ques to ask (not related to this blog)
i am a chartered accountant working at PWC(priceWaterhouseCoopers) and planning to do MBA. I am 22 years old (passed CA this year only, joined job 3 months back).
I suppose you were also working before starting your mba.....

So my question is should i leave my job (boring to death job) and prepare for cat or should i accumulate some work ex, maybe 2 years something and then try for it.

I dont know if this is a right place to ask such ques (sorry for that), but maybe you can understand my position better than other students on forums like pagalguy....

PS-i dont like my job except for pay-cheque (which is really big at my age).
i dont like finance although i passed THE most tough exam of this stream, maybe i will choose marketing for mba.

please reply or e-mail me at raviyadav18@gmail.com

Hi Ravi, giving you a purely personal opinion.

I think a little bit of work-ex helps, even if you don't intend to specialize in your present field. That is because in the 'soft skills' courses, you have some idea of how people interact in a professional environment.

And anyways, a job is often boring-to-death, especially when you are just out of college. A lot of people come here to 'take a break'. But this will last for only 2 years. So side-by-side, try to get a little used to a work environment.

All the best!
