Day 434:25th Nov, 2010

It's growing colder each day. And wrapped up in a warm blanket, you just don't feel like waking up :-)

Exactly because of this (and the cushion of attendance that I have saved up), I decided to give today's morning class a skip. And exactly like yesterday. later came to know that the session was officially cancelled :D

Apart from that, nothing special during the day. Have spent a big chunk of it playing this game called 'Crazy Taxi'. It's a light app on FaceBook and it's got me hooked pretty bad!!

Day 306: 12th Jul, 2010

It feel real nice to wake up a good 2 hrs before class. That way you can stop (not snooze!) the alarm and get back to sleep. What's not cool is that the next you wake up, you realise you have overslept by 7 minutes and missed the class :-( . That's the story for Retail class today.

Have been more or less adhering to my compromised every-alternate-day-swimming schedule. The more interesting game however was the ones I played after that. Armed with ONE table tennis bat and a ball, we went to the TT room. The usually present common TT bat wasn't available. So lack of resources prompted creativity. Started playing TT with hand. Also tried playing it with chappals. Finally zeroed in on playing a highly modified version of squash - single player, TT ball, TT bat, wall :D . Was SUPER fun though!

Day 208: 28th Jan, 2010

So finally the quizzes have started pouring. Had the SCM and CFM quiz today. Nothing much to prepare in CFM - 90% of the class walked in without reading a word. And then, I utilised the 20 min gap between the tests to study for the SCM quiz :D

Played TT after a looooong time. Went back to my room and did some timepass. Suddenly around 7, I got a call from Pindyck asking me to come down for CS! Counter-strike!

Some info about me. Back in school, I was a BIG addict of all video games. But somehow, the computer games bug never bit me, mainly because I didn't like playing without joysticks. And inspite of me warning all this to Pindyck, was incorporated in his team.

We started playing as terrorists. To identify ourselves (especially novices like me who wouldn't be able to distinguish with the clothing), we named ourselves as terrorist_XYZ. All was fine as I tried to shoot and kill the counter terrorists. Really enjoyed all the killing, though usually I happened to be the victim. The funnier part was when we switched roles to become counter terrorists. It never occurred to me that our names won't change. I saw somebody named terrorist_rancho in front of me, became trigger happy and killed my teammate :D
